Private Charles Evans

Died 20th February 1918

Private Charles Evans, who lived at "The Hollies", Park Road, Newton-le-Willows, was born in Chatham, Canada. According to the Newton and Earlestown Guardian of 1st March 1918, he died of "a short but severe illness, believed to be the result of a chill" at the Chester War Hospital where he was attached to the Dental Staff of the RAMC. He is buried in Kerry, Montgomeryshire, his native place.
