In Memory of

Private Herbert Fazakerley

The only information which can be found about this casualty is that on the St. Philip's, Newton Common, memorial which is now found at St. John the Baptist Church, Earlestown. This simply records "Private Herbert Fazakerley, Died in Baghdad 7-IX-22". Strangly enough, this is probably the only record on a memorial in the district giving the place and date of death. His name is also on the District School Memorial which simply has RAF against his name.
