Edmund Cooper was the son of Isaac and Mary Ellen Cooper of 13, Warrington Road, Ashton-in-Makerfield, although he was originally born in Golborne. He is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial at Ieper on Panel 33. It has not been possible to find an obituary for further personal details.
