In Memory of

Private William Brierley

Died of Wounds 5th September 1915

Private William Brierley was born in Oldham but, according to SDGW, was resident in Newton-le-Willows. An 'In Memorium' was published in the NEG on 13th September 1918 from his "wife and two little girls".

He is buried in Ridge Wood Military Cemetery, which is five kilometres south west of Ieper, in Plot II, Row E, Grave 16.
