In Memory of

Gunner Harry Jenkinson

RMA/2216(S)
H.Q. (Eastney), Royal Marine Artillery
Died 26th February 1919 Age 25

The Roll of Honour for McCorquordale's Printing Works states that Gunner Harry Jenkinson had been apprenticed with them as a Machine Minder and had been with them ten years before joining the army in July 1916. Gunner Jenkinson is buried in Lowton (St Luke) Churchyard, Lowton, Lancashire, having died of pneumonia (probably linked with Spanish 'flu) while on demobilisation furlough.
