This is the first photo to be published of an Earlestonian in the trenches. It is of Sapper Peter Burns, of the Royal Engineers, who is the son of Mrs. Burns, of Wargrave-road, Earlestown. Mrs. Burns' other three sons are also serving with the colours. Many of our readers will remember an interesting photo we published on the 7th May, of the four sons with the proud mother in the centre.
